...and if you set the color quality to 16 bit you should be able to get a resolution of 1024x768..

WinXP should be able to use s3 trio without additional driver. If you want to use it for a second display just set "primary graphics device" to PCI in your BIOS. Worked with me..

It should be on XP CD>, Drivers for new operating systems for the following S3 and S3 Graphics products are not provided. Unless in-the-box drivers exist (as noted below), drivers for current operating systems are not available for any of the following products. Any drivers available from S3 Graphics are the latest versions and will not be updated by S3 Graphics.
