tried to use et5 no cia/mib function lit up. checked bios but dont know where hidden functions are by pressing ctrl f1. unable to overclock excepy by altering fsb What a waste of the amd quad core phemom chips capabilities !

CIA2/MIB2 only work if the system board supports it. Ex: GA-P35-DS3P has CIA2, but no MIB2. So far, ET5 is crap. It only makes changes for the session. As soon as you restart system, changes are lost. It s not saving the setting to the BIOS. I give it a grade of "D-". It s BARELY a useful program.

Easytune 5 is garbage. It runs but is not accessable in ANY way. It does not appear in the shortcut menus. Hell what is the point of a program that when running it totally twaddle - Is being deleted and binned along with the bloody buggy Gigabyte sodding card.

easytune 5 works fine for me, but i cant click MIB, to get CIA working u have to enable in BIOS. there is no MIB option in BIOS :(

I don t know whether to agree with Colin and Stev or not as EasyTune5 installs on my Win2k PC (with Gigabyte mobo) but will not then run.
An extremely quick something flashes on the screen and then 4 at least installed and the size of the donwload file on ET4 was 14.47MB but that of ET5 was only 4.49MB (I tried it from several sites and got the same size each time)
Would have to say curious if nothing else!

The people at Gigabyte are absolute idiots, monkeys could do a better job. They dont even speak good English. They market boards as supporting familys of processors when they dont actually support all the processors in that family. This Easy Tune software is the biggest joke of all, tells me that my system temperature is 192 C, I think it would have melted into a ball by now and fallen through the floor. I have over ˆ1000 worth of hardware just sitting there, cant trust it as a primary machine, all because I thought I was buying a good board when I bought a Gigabyte GA8N SLI-Royal. My advice, avoid Gigabyte untill further notice.

This is a bullshit program i m having more problems after using this...After overclocking and turning on CIA and MIB my computer now freezes at start up self check and i can t even go to BIOS to reset to default!
